I am a Franco-Ontarien and a registered citizen of the Métis Nation of Ontario. I've been writing poetry since 1992. So far, I've self-published 18 collections of poetry about the homeless and those individuals who work with them, and on a variety of other topics. In 2010, I published my first novel, Riding the Tides of Life. I graduated with an MSW from Carleton University in 1969 and have worked in Children's Aid and Mental Health settings. I currently work at the Shepherds of Good Hope, a non-profit organization which serves the homeless and the poor in Ottawa.
